Clio in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our rapidly growing Engineering team. You will build innovative solutions for the legal tech platform, collaborating with full-stack engineers across Canada, the US, and Ireland.

The role emphasizes Ruby on Rails expertise, mentorship, Agile practices, and a willingness to learn AI-driven improvements. The position requires biweekly presence in the hub office and offers a competitive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications at scale using Ruby on Rails.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a distributed team environment.
• Mentorship experience in Agile processes and large-scale SaaS products.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build high-trust relationships with teammates and customers.
• Curiosity and drive to apply learnings to fix root causes; willingness to learn Ruby.

Responsabilités

• Work with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customers.
• Work in an agile environment with full stack developers across various projects.
• Learn new things and hone your craft as a Rails expert.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams across Canada, the United States, and Ireland.
• Review and provide feedback on code within your team and across Clio.
• Collaborate with teams to diagnose, understand, and solve problems and build cross-area solutions.
