Job summary

Clio is seeking a Software Developer Co-op to join our Engineering team at hub offices (Toronto, Calgary, Burnaby). You’ll design, develop, and deploy high-quality software as part of the Clio product suite, using Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React Native, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch.

You will be mentored by senior developers at a rapid-growth, venture-backed company. The 8-month program runs January 2027 to August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS/Engineering degree (3rd or 4th year)
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in applying AI to software development

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality code as part of the Clio product suite.
• Contribute to technical scoping and planning for upcoming work.
• Communicate project progress and address impediments.
• Collaborate across the development organization and participate in code reviews.
• Drive implementation of new features and timely solutions for customer issues.
• Participate in team and company initiatives shaping engineering.
