Job summary

WSP seeks a Principal Resource Geologist to lead geological modeling and mineral resource estimation across the full mine life cycle, mentoring teams and building trusted client relationships in Canada and internationally.

You will own the geology workstream for front-end studies (PEA, PFS, FS) and apply Leapfrog, Datamine, Vulcan and related tools while promoting safety and compliance and pursuing new opportunities with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in resource geology with leadership in estimation and modeling.
• P.Geo. registration or eligibility in Canada.
• Proven ability to oversee multi-jurisdiction mineral resource disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary geological studies from exploration to resource estimation.
• Direct modeling and resource estimation using Leapfrog, Datamine, Vulcan and similar tools.
• Own geology workstreams for front-end studies (PEA, PFS, FS) and report writing.
• Mentor junior team members and drive knowledge sharing across teams.
