Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Principal Resource Geologist in Vancouver to lead geological modelling efforts, construct resource and reserve block models, and contribute to NI 43-101 reporting. You’ll mentor junior geologists and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in mining or environmental services, with strong Leapfrog Geo/Edge skills, plus familiarity with Datamine/Vulcan/Surpac/Micromine.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar geological role in mining or environmental services
• Significant knowledge of Leapfrog Geo and Edge modelling software
• Experience with 3D geological modelling, data analysis, and drill planning

Responsibilities

• Develop geological models or interpretations
• Construct block models for mineral resource and reserve estimates
• Prepare NI 43-101 Reports or international equivalents
• Support project financing due diligence and M&A
• Lead projects and mentor geologists
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate findings
• Ensure delivery with health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC
• Prepare proposals and contribute to business development plans
• Build client relationships and deliver excellent service
