Job summary

Wood is seeking a Principal Resource Geologist to lead mineral resource estimation and public disclosures across North America and beyond. The role requires QP authority, experience with multi-commodity projects, and coordination of external contributions to NI 43-101 and S-K 1300 reports.

You will mentor teams, develop modeling standards, and support strategic business initiatives while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

More than 15 years’ experience in resource development, operations and geology.
Direct authorship of NI 43-101 and S-K 1300 technical reports.
Eligible to act as a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 and S-K 1300.

Responsibilities

Direct execution of mineral resource estimation and reserve support.
Lead, author and act as Qualified Person for technical reports.
Develop technical disclosures for public filings and maintain consistency.
Ensure compliance with CIM, JORC, and SEC NI 43-101 rules.
Mentor staff and build technical capabilities across teams.
Support business development and client relationships.
