Job summary

Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. in Alberta seeks a senior leader for the Reclamation and Construction team to provide technical leadership, senior review, and mentoring across complex projects.

This full-time role blends office and field work (80/20) in a consultancy setting, focusing on quality deliverables, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

You will guide project teams, assist with risk assessments, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in reclamation or soil science.
• Ten years of experience in site assessments and reclamation, with focus on oil and gas.
• Eligibility for membership in a relevant professional organization.
• Knowledge of reclamation and remediation guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements to develop work plans, schedules, cost estimates and technical strategies.
• Provide senior technical leadership and support for complex reclamation and construction projects.
• Interpret site, regulatory and environmental data to identify risks and defensible solutions.
• Plan, organize and oversee project execution including field programs and subcontractors.
• Conduct senior technical reviews of reports and regulatory submissions.
• Provide professional sign-off of technical documents per requirements.
• Identify technical risks and data gaps and recommend solutions.
• Mentor and support staff in technical execution and development.
• Provide guidance to project teams, PMs, clients and regulators.
• Support proposal development, scope definition and cost estimating.
• Participate in safety, QA/QC and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support technical standards and knowledge transfer within the organization.
• Complete work in accordance with MEMS values.
• Other duties as assigned.
