Job summary

Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Environment Scientist, Complex Field Lead, to execute complex environmental assessment, remediation and reclamation projects across Western Canada. The role involves 80% field work with 20% office time, and requires eligibility for professional membership.

Based in Calgary or Sherwood Park, you will lead field programs, manage costs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Five years of directly related environmental site assessment/remediation experience.
• Eligible for membership in a relevant professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee field programs for Phase 2 ESAs, remediation and reclamation projects.
• Collaborate with safety-focused professionals to ensure safety excellence.
• Coordinate with contractors on ESA and remediation activities.
• Accurately track crew and contractor costs and forecast expenses.
• Ensure field processes meet contract specifications and quality standards.
• Use digital tools to collect and organize field data and files.
• Develop work plans and cost estimates using risk-based approaches.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
