Job summary

Carewest is seeking a Sr. QI Lead to promote excellence in care through advanced evidence-based practice, systems leadership, and professional practice development.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to shape guideline development and implementation, ensuring effective planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives. The role involves leading change in a complex environment, reviewing workflows, and driving improvements across Carewest teams to achieve optimum client outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed; 3–5 years of quality improvement experience.
  • PROSCI Change Management certification or modules.
  • AIW Fundamentals or other continuous improvement training.
  • Familiarity with AHSecure, ethics governance, and privacy legislation (HIA, ATIA, POPA).
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to plan, implement and lead change from an evidence-based perspective.
  • Experience in group facilitation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Connect Care, and RLS.
  • Experience in data analysis, quality improvement, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead guideline and protocol development and implementation for best client outcomes.
  • Review cases, workflows and best practice; engage stakeholders for system change.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify quality and safety opportunities for sustainable improvements across Carewest.
