Job summary

St. Joseph’s Home Care is seeking a Data Analyst to support strategic initiatives, quality improvement, and performance reporting. The role blends data analytics with business process design, creating dashboards, scorecards, and BI reports to guide leadership decisions across home care operations.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, clinical teams, finance, and IT to ensure data integrity, develop KPIs, and provide timely insights for program improvement and contract planning.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, IT, CS or related field.
• Master’s degree is an asset.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in business analysis, data analysis or evaluation.
• 2-3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, decision support, or performance reporting; home/community care is an asset.
• Experience with data collection design, analysis, and reporting required.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation; MS Office with strong Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives, organizational goals, quality improvement plans, and business development activities.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, reports, databases, data collection systems, and performance tools.
• Analyze and present metrics, KPIs, BI, and operational reports for leadership.
• Perform data collection, validation, analysis, interpretation, and root-cause investigations.
• Coordinate application configuration, testing, upgrades, implementations, maintenance, and user access.
• Build cross-continuum reporting for programs and connect hospital discharge activity with home care delivery.
