Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a health care related field.
  • Five years' recent health care leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methods, accreditation and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with health care leaders to lead improvement initiatives that enhance quality, safety and care utilization.
  • Identifies learning needs and develops education resources for QI/PS.
  • Provides consultation to teams on planning, testing, measuring and evaluating initiatives.
  • Facilitates and coaches teams on KPI development and monitoring.
  • Analyzes data to identify improvement opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Leads development of client safety indicators and risk prevention strategies.
  • Evaluates processes related to patient safety and complaints, recommending improvements.
  • Contributes to policy development for patient safety and quality of care.
  • Integrates accreditation standards with program priorities.
  • Provides expertise on clinical improvement tools and care pathways.
  • Reviews processes and reports progress to Fraser Health quality committees.
  • Liaises with external supports to share knowledge and data.
