Job summary

Fraser Health in Surrey, BC, is seeking a Full Time Senior Coordinator, Quality Improvement (QI) to lead unit-based QI initiatives across acute and LTC units within Fraser North/South/East. This role reports to CQPS and partners with clinical and support teams to implement evidence-based practices and sustainable changes.

The Senior Coordinator will mentor unit-based QI teams, drive education, and oversee data collection, reporting, and quality initiatives aligned with Fraser Health priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health, Social Sciences or related field plus three years related healthcare experience.
• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Initiates site preparation meetings with Directors, Managers and Medical Staff.
• Facilitates site planning meetings with operational leaders to share QI objectives.
• Leads unit planning meetings with designated unit-based QI teams and leadership.
• Ensures completion of unit and site-based QI reports and presents them in approved formats.
• Provides guidance on data collection to gauge Accreditation Canada standards and safety indicators.
• Develops and delivers unit-based QI education and materials for staff and new hires.
