Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking a Quality Control Manager in Ottawa to lead the QMS and QC across metal cutting, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing operations, ensuring right‑first‑time workmanship and compliance with customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on QC experience in controlled manufacturing, with strong knowledge of GD&T, drawings, and CAPA; eligible for Government Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on quality control experience in metal fabrication and machining.
• Fluent in engineering documentation (drawings, GD&T, BOMs) and quality planning.
• Eligible for Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead QMS leadership and continuous improvement, including audits, CAPA, and management review.
• Direct quality control and inspection across fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing operations.
• Drive nonconformance management with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
