Turner & Townsend in Ottawa is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a highly regulated infrastructure project in aviation. This is a full-time site-based role, with five days a week in the office.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction or supervision.
• Airport/Aviation experience highly preferred.
• Aviation planning experience or relevant industry qualifications will be strongly considered.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project or P6.
• Strong numbers, technology, and web-based data platform skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead tasks through design, procurement and construction processes.
• Identify initial budgets and scheduling at project feasibility with the client team.
• Set up and lead meetings; transcribe minutes; drive actions to closure.
• Ensure project compliance with client document controls and specs.
• Coordinate client stakeholders, consultants, vendors and contractors.
• Provide regular project reporting.
• Maintain budget and schedule; identify solutions for potential issues.
• Oversee procurement, consultant and contractor selections, quotations and orders.
• Elicit and review results from appointed parties.
• Coordinate Contracts and Master Service Agreements through the project lifecycle.
• Manage change orders.

You are an expert Senior Project Manager looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment ; a highly regulated and complex operational environment in the infrastructure sector (aviation preferred). This is a full-time site-based role, 5 days / week in the office is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading individual tasks throughout the design, procurement and construction process.
• Working with the client team to identify initial budgets and scheduling at project feasibility.
• Setting up and lead meetings, transcribe meeting minutes and drive action items to closure.
• Ensuring project compliance with client's document controls and file specifications.
• Collaborating and coordinating client stakeholders, consultants, client direct vendors and contractors.
• Providing regular reporting.
• Aiming to maintain budget and schedule and identify potential solutions for issues that look to jeopardize same.
• Running procurement, recommendation and appointment of consultants and contractors, and establishing quotations and order placement with client direct vendors.
• Eliciting and reviewing results from relevant appointed parties.
• Coordinating Contracts and Master Service Agreements through the project lifecycle.
• Change order management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field
• PMP certification is highly desirable
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction
• Airport/Aviation experience is highly preferred
• Aviation planning experience or relevant industry qualifications will be strongly considered
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Project or P6.
• Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms.

Compensation

The base salary range for this full-time role is $90,000 - $155,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
