Job summary

Bird Industrial Management Services Ltd. is seeking a Director of Project Controls in Canada to lead planning, scheduling and budget cost controls for large-scale construction programs.

The role requires overseeing nuclear decommissioning projects, directing cross-functional teams, and providing executive reporting on performance, risks and financial forecasts. This position involves travel to sites across Ontario and collaboration with engineering, construction and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of active, relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience and ability to use cost control systems and planning/scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and reporting tools.
• Experience with nuclear and nuclear decommissioning projects.
• Proficiency with document control systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale construction operations and establish division policies.
• Oversee nuclear decommissioning projects with accountability for cost, schedule, scope, and performance.
• Allocate resources and enforce project controls, governance, and reporting structures.
