Job summary

Aecon in Canada is seeking a senior Project Manager for the New Build Nuclear program. You will lead cross-functional teams across Proposals, Estimates, Construction, Engineering, and Project Controls to advance Canada’s nuclear portfolio, including Small Modular Reactor projects, with a focus on safety, schedule, cost, and quality.

The role requires a PMP and 10–15 years in EPC/construction, strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and outstanding communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field applicable to nuclear construction.
• PM certification (PMP) preferred.
• 10–15 years of project management experience, with EPC/Service construction exposure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Aecon senior management and BD teams to advance priorities in North America for new build nuclear planning and construction.
• Identify, develop, and advance leads in the Canada new build nuclear sector, including strategic alliances, partnerships, and customers.
• Strategize and develop RFQs & RFPs, working closely with US and Canadian BD and Operations teams.
• Lead cross functional teams to ensure execution goals and timely deliverables.
• Prepare status reports and communicate progress to customers and stakeholders.
