Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, or related engineering.
• Registered or eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng. in Ontario.
• 3–8 years of project engineering, coordination, construction, or engineering experience in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or nuclear environments.
• Experience with OPG, Bruce Power, CNL, or regulated nuclear facilities is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and project delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Bird team and Owner/Customer’s work processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with Owner/Customer’s engineering team and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Provide Design Service Provider oversight on projects with subcontracted design services.
• Oversee execution scope assessment within the Owner/Customer’s work management system.
• Fulfill field team roles as required by procedures.
• Coordinate procurement-related issues with the procurement team.
• Conduct field walkdowns during the project life cycle.
• Provide installation and commissioning technical oversight.
• Create installation or commissioning workplans as required.
• Update operations and maintenance procedures affected by projects.
