Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in construction, EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or nuclear environments, including senior leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects or programs with full accountability for financial performance and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of project execution, including cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Experience with contract and subcontract administration, including commercial management and change processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments.
  • Experience in nuclear projects and familiarity with clients such as OPG, Bruce Power, or CNL is considered an asset.
  • Professional designation such as P.Eng., PMP, or equivalent is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workforce planning, organizational structuring, and team development to ensure appropriate resourcing and long-term program capability across nuclear projects.
  • Provide leadership and performance oversight to project teams, establishing expectations and promoting a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and integrate engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and project controls to ensure coordinated execution aligned with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contractual requirements, approved work plans, and nuclear site procedures, maintaining alignment with client and regulatory expectations.
  • Monitor project performance across cost, schedule, productivity, quality, and risk, ensuring timely identification, mitigation, and resolution of issues.
  • Support project teams in resolving execution challenges, including technical issues, resource constraints, and stakeholder concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, acting as a key point of contact for project delivery, issue resolution, and ongoing partnership growth.
  • Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and identification of new opportunities within the nuclear sector.
  • Oversee contract and subcontract administration, including performance management, commercial risk, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accountability for financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow management, and margin performance.
  • Manage project risks and change processes, including identification, evaluation, escalation, and implementation of change orders and claims.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project reporting, providing executive-level updates on performance, financials, risks, and key decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear safety culture, quality assurance programs, regulatory requirements, and procedural controls, including documentation, material traceability, and field execution.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, performance reviews, and audits, ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory, and nuclear program expectations
