Job summary

Ausenco in Vancouver is seeking a Lead Project Controller to join our Minerals and Metals team. You will lead the implementation and management of project controls systems, budgets, schedules, and reporting across assigned projects, drawing on your 12+ years of experience to drive performance and value in complex mining, engineering, EPCM and construction environments.

This role offers a hybrid work setup in Canada, opportunities to mentor others, and exposure to global projects.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in project controls or related field.
Experience leading project controls activities on large-scale mining, engineering, EPCM, or construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field is an asset.
Experienced in using Oracle, EcoSys and P6 is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and management of project controls systems, processes, and reporting requirements across assigned projects.
Establish and maintain project control budgets utilizing standard Ausenco systems, WBS, and control accounts to monitor project performance.
Provide leadership and guidance on cost control, forecasting, scheduling, progress measurement, risk management, and change management activities.
Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and schedule performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and developing mitigation strategies.
