Job summary

Ausenco is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost, schedule, and performance management on a major North American mining project. You will report to the Regional Director and oversee cost controllers, schedulers, estimators, and document controllers.

Responsibilities include developing control procedures, converting multi-billion-dollar estimates into detailed CAPEX budgets, and coordinating with planning teams to maintain schedules across EPC phases.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in planning/cost control on heavy industrial and mining EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls processes and procedures.
• Experience supervising staff and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for project controls on assigned project(s).
• Lead and support the project controls team (cost controllers, planners, estimators, document controllers).
• Develop, implement, and maintain project control procedures.
