Ausenco seeks an accomplished Project Director to lead large mining and minerals EPC/EPCM projects from engineering through construction and closeout. The role requires guiding multi‑discipline teams, maintaining cost control and schedule integrity, and ensuring safety and quality across remote and cold climate environments.

The position emphasizes executive leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision‑making to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• P.Eng. designation is highly desirable.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for delivery of large mining/minerals projects.
• Establish objectives, governance, and performance expectations.
• Ensure alignment with contract, standards, and client expectations.
• Lead safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage client relationships and senior stakeholders at executive level.
• Oversee multidisciplinary site teams and procurement/contract activities.
• Maintain project financial performance and regular reporting on cost and risk.
