Job summary

Ausenco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major mining capital project from development through execution. The role will drive engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning with a transition to a FIFO site-based leadership position.

The ideal candidate will bring 8-15+ years of project management experience in mining/metals, strong commercial awareness, and a proven track record in EPCM environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 8-15+ years in major capital projects
• Proven PM on mining/metals projects
• Experience in EPCM or EPC environments
• Strong leadership and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership from project development through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Establish clear objectives, priorities and execution strategies for the project.
• Lead the project team to achieve safety, cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Maintain governance with client, EPCM contractor, vendors and stakeholders.
