Job description

Job Description:

Dentsu Programmatic is shaping the future of programmatic advertising and is looking for the next rising star to join the team. We seek a proactive individual who works well in a team environment and has leadership qualities. As a Senior Buyer, Programmatic, you will have the opportunity to own account management, planning, setup, and activation of programmatic campaigns for your portfolio of clients. You will work closely with your team to service various client teams within the agency. Your daily activities will include campaign planning, overseeing setup, optimization, and reporting to meet client objectives. A successful candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective time management, with a primary goal of leading your team and collaborating with client teams to deliver a superior programmatic offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of programmatic campaigns across various platforms to a team of specialists and traders.
  • Lead discussions about potential campaigns and participate in new campaign briefings, including assisting with RFP creation.
  • Manage campaigns from initiation to completion—initial briefings, planning, platform setup, go-live, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Ensure all media plan requirements are accurately communicated and entered in relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including planners and media vendors.
  • Lead post-launch audits, campaign optimizations, and pacing strategies.
  • Identify and resolve challenges or opportunities within live campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in programmatic advertising.
  • Hands-on experience with DSPs such as DV360, Amazon, Teads, and The Trade Desk.
  • Understanding of tagging, ad serving, and campaign management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
  • Desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Additional Information:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. The actual salary will depend on experience, knowledge, and skills. Benefits include medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and other perks.
