Job summary

Jobber is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Foundations team, shaping UI components and UX patterns across platforms. You will evolve the design system to support AI-backed design and development, partnering with designers, product managers, and engineers to raise standards in usability and accessibility.

You will lead projects that improve consistency, velocity, and quality while turning ideas into scalable design systems used across web and mobile environments.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating design craft and systems thinking.
• 2–5 years experience designing design systems and tokens.
• Track record leading projects that improve design consistency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design system projects to create and refine components, interaction patterns, and design tokens that scale across web and mobile platforms
• Apply Jobber's brand and experience principles to the product through thoughtful, high-quality visual and interaction design
• Identify gaps in the system and drive solutions that improve consistency and usability at scale
• Define and evolve governance models, contribution processes, and best practices
• Partner with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and AI-backed design workflows
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to support adoption and share best practices
• Advocate for UX quality across the company to improve visual and interaction design
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, mentorship, feedback, and continuous improvement
