Job summary

Power Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior AI Product Designer to shepherd complex challenges from problem definition to polished, working solutions. This full-cycle role blends product strategy, UX/UI design, discovery, prototyping, user testing, and engineering handoff, with AI guiding discovery, prototyping, documentation, and development.

You will collaborate with product and leadership to understand problems, explore solutions, and turn concepts into high-quality prototypes

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across product design, UX/UI, product management, or a combination.
• Proven experience taking products from discovery through design, prototyping, testing, and handoff to engineering.
• Strong portfolio showing shipped products and end-to-end product ownership.
• Extensive UX, UI, interaction design, and information architecture skills.
• Experience creating PRDs and product requirements.
• Strong interactive prototyping skills and modern design systems.
• Demonstrated experience using AI as part of your product and design workflow.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working asynchronously with teams across the Americas time zones.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Product Designer to take complex product challenges from initial problem definition through to polished, working, and testable solutions.

This is a full-cycle role combining product strategy, UX/UI design, product discovery, prototyping, user testing, and engineering handoff. You will work closely with product and leadership teams to understand customer problems, explore multiple solutions, and turn the strongest concepts into high-quality prototypes that can quickly move into development.

AI is central to how this team works. The ideal candidate actively uses AI to accelerate product discovery, design, prototyping, documentation, and development.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Discovery & Problem Framing

• Translate business requirements into clearly defined customer and product problems.
• Challenge assumptions and identify the underlying user needs.
• Work with stakeholders and customers to validate product direction.
• Understand user workflows and identify opportunities to improve the overall experience.

Product Definition & PRDs

• Develop clear, execution-ready product requirements and PRDs.
• Translate business requirements into product features and AI-driven capabilities.
• Define product goals, requirements, workflows, and success criteria.
• Use AI tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, and product definition.

UX/UI & Product Design

• Own the complete user experience from information architecture through high-fidelity UI.
• Create user flows, wireframes, interaction models, and polished designs.
• Explore multiple approaches to solve complex product problems.
• Develop intuitive and scalable user experiences.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries.

Prototyping & Proof of Concepts

• Create high-fidelity prototypes using modern design tools.
• Use AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or similar technologies to accelerate prototyping.
• Build working proof-of-concepts when appropriate to validate ideas before development.
• Select the appropriate level of fidelity based on the decision or problem being tested.

Testing & Product Decisions

• Test concepts and prototypes with users and stakeholders.
• Use feedback and evidence to evaluate competing solutions.
• Make informed recommendations about which solution should move forward.
• Clearly communicate the reasoning behind product and design decisions.
• Provide detailed, high-fidelity designs and prototypes that engineering teams can quickly build from.
• Work closely with engineers throughout development.
• Ensure product requirements, user flows, and design decisions are clearly documented.
• Improve AI-assisted workflows and share best practices with the broader team.

Job Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience across product design, UX/UI, product management, or a combination of these disciplines.
• Proven experience taking products from discovery through design, prototyping, testing, and engineering handoff.
