Job summary

Affim is a remote-first company redefining credit with clear, user-friendly product messaging. This Senior Product Copywriter role sits on the Creative Content Team and collaborates across Product, Marketing, Design, and Legal to shape email, push notifications, and web content.

You will craft scalable content frameworks, test messaging strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a consistent voice across touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in copywriting and/or content design, ideally within a product or tech-focused environment.
• Hands-on experience writing for email, push notifications, web, and in-product messaging, with a solid understanding of best practices for each medium.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including product marketing, designers, product managers, and engineers, to create customer-centric solutions.
• A self-starter mentality, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to clarity, scalability, and consistency across all written content.
• Experience with legal and compliance review processes, ensuring that all content meets necessary regulatory standards.
• A passion for content innovation, bringing fresh ideas and new approaches to how we communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Write and refine content across product touchpoints, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and web, ensuring a consistent voice and tone.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product messaging aligns with user needs and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain messaging frameworks, content templates, and writing standards to create scalable content.
• Drive content strategies for campaigns, from ideation through A/B testing, enhancing user experience and business goals.
• Contribute to the evolution of the brand voice, refining communication with consumers and merchants across digital touchpoints.
• Support content optimization by analyzing performance metrics and iterating on content based on testing insights and feedback.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure content meets regulatory standards.
• Work with Product Design to ensure messaging integration into product experiences.
• Champion a content-first approach to design and product decisions.
