Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Control Officer – Portfolio & Financial Reporting to oversee governance, reporting, financial management, and delivery coordination across Agile and Waterfall initiatives in Toronto, Canada.

The role partners with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and senior stakeholders to provide executive visibility and delivery readiness. The position requires 5+ years in PMO/portfolio analysis and strong skills in Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and Excel.

Qualifications

Five+ years in Project Control/PMO/Portfolio analysis or similar roles.
Experience supporting complex portfolios or enterprise initiatives.
Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Proficiency in portfolio governance and executive reporting.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and leadership meetings.
Manage schedules, agendas, logistics, minutes, decisions, and action items.
Support compliance, risk management, and audit activities.
Collect, consolidate, and validate updates from delivery teams.
Use Jira and PMO tools to track progress and produce leadership reporting.
Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, and governance materials.
Coordinate communications across business, product, technology, risk, and executives.
Support portfolio financial management, including budgets, forecasts, and reporting."
Monitor deadlines, governance submissions, and key commitments for timely delivery.
Assist with onboarding of new team members and projects entering the portfolio.
Coordinate release readiness and post-release activities as needed.
Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities across the portfolio.
Contribute proactively in a cross-functional delivery environment.
