Job summary

Appficiency Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager I to lead a PMO portfolio, guiding delivery across multiple client programs in Canada. You will oversee a team of Project Managers, shape delivery strategy, and ensure profitability and client satisfaction at an executive level.

The role emphasizes strategic influence, governance, and risk management, with travel to client sites as needed and eligibility to work in Canada and the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own PMO performance across a portfolio of client programs, accountable for delivery quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, overseeing performance and career development.
• Serve as senior escalation point for critical program-level risks and issues across the portfolio.
• Set and refine delivery standards and PMO governance across the portfolio.
• Build executive-level client relationships, driving strategic account growth and long-term partnerships.
• Own strategic resourcing and capacity planning across the portfolio.
