Job summary

Entrust is seeking a highly technical Sr. Platform Engineer to lead the implementation of private datacenter IaaS capabilities. This hands-on role drives self-service provisioning, automation, and scalable infrastructure across networking, compute, and storage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform/cloud engineering, DevOps, or automation roles
• Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, segmentation, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, IPAM) and security policy enforcement
• Experience designing automation-driven infrastructure services and private cloud/IaaS capabilities
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python
• Experience with Git-based change control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

Responsibilities

• Partner with architects and domain leads to implement private cloud and IaaS strategy
• Drive self-service and automated provisioning
• Translate target-state architecture into scalable, automated infrastructure services
• Lead self-service networking, compute, storage, and related platform services
• Build and maintain automation workflows, templates, and service blueprints
• Develop API integrations across infrastructure platforms and orchestration tools
• Establish Git-based development practices for infrastructure automation
• Support governance, security, and compliance in infrastructure delivery
• Contribute to platform engineering standards and SOPs
• Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshoot complex platform challenges
