Job summary

HOOPP is seeking an experienced Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure cloud infrastructure for Investment, Finance, and Risk teams.

You will partner with Enterprise Architects, dev teams, and security to align cloud initiatives with business goals. Bring 8+ years in IT infrastructure and strong AWS/Azure experience, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM), and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT Infrastructure Operations and cloud platform experience.
• Hands-on design, implementation and operation of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with IaC tools and automation to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Argo CD.
• Drive automation to improve cloud operations and developer experience.
• Improve platform observability with modern monitoring and AI-assisted insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve issues and optimize solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
