Job summary

CC&L Financial Group is seeking a Principal Architect for Compute & Storage Infrastructure. This leader will own the Compute & Storage platform domain, defining architecture, standards, and guardrails across on-prem and hybrid environments to ensure scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on depth and strong delivery experience within a hybrid model. The candidate will guide workload placement, capacity planning, and platform modernization,

Qualifications

• Hands-on architecture and delivery experience in large-scale compute/storage environments.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and datacenter tech.

Responsibilities

• Own the Compute & Storage platform domain across on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Define architecture standards, guardrails, and service offerings for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Guide workload placement, capacity, and lifecycle management for compute/storage platforms.
• Develop data lifecycle, backup, and disaster recovery strategies balancing performance and cost.
• Lead platform design for AI/ML, GPU, and research workloads.
• Translate workload needs into platform roadmaps and investment priorities.
• Collaborate with Security, Operations, Architecture, and other Platform Owners.
• Set direction for SMEs and vendors and drive platform outcomes.
• Monitor health via capacity forecasting, performance optimization, and availability.
