Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to architect, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and other public clouds for high availability and security. You will lead migrations from on‑premise environments to hosted platforms, align milestones with commitments, and implement strong security controls and secure integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a System/Cloud Administrator role.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including environment architecture and deployment.
• Experience with database platforms and networking concepts.
• Working proficiency across Linux and Windows server operating systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet).
• Familiarity with AI prompting and responsible use of AI tools in IT workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, configure, and support cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and other public clouds for high availability, performance, and security.
• Lead migration of on-premise customer environments to hosted cloud platforms, targeting milestones aligned with commitments and forecasts.
• Implement and maintain security measures including identity management, network segmentation, and compliance controls across cloud environments.
• Configure secure integrations with external services (OAuth, Microsoft 365, GSuite, third-party applications).
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency with measurable targets.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code to enable scalable provisioning.
• Build toward a fully automated CI/CD pipeline for deployment and monitoring.
• Create automation scripts to eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Serve as primary technical support liaison for hosted and on-premise environments.
