Job summary

DGA Careers Inc. is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Advisor in Richmond, BC. The role focuses on servicing a diverse client portfolio with tailored coverage and ongoing relationship management.

Ideal candidates have a Level 2 Insurance Licence and at least 3 years in Personal Lines, with strong knowledge of carriers, markets, and technology. Hybrid work is available, and opportunities to expand into Commercial Lines are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Insurance Licence is required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in Personal Lines insurance, including new and existing business.
• Strong knowledge of Personal Lines products, underwriting guidelines and markets.
• Experience with renewals, policy servicing and client relationship management.
• Familiarity with brokerage systems and insurer portals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of Personal Lines clients.
• Review client coverages and provide insurance recommendations.
• Prepare insurance proposals and coverage solutions.
• Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations and policy changes.
• Work with carriers to negotiate renewals and options.
• Underwrite new and renewal business per guidelines.
• Complete policy binding, invoicing, and documentation.
• Build lasting client relationships with proactive service.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and new business.
