Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Senior People Operations and Learning Specialist to own Canada People Operations and support global learning programs. You will manage onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle while collaborating with European teams for real-time overlap.

You will also administer the learning platform, partner with SMEs to craft content, track participation, and grow scalable processes using AI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR Operations.
• Direct experience supporting Canadian employees, payroll, benefits, and administration.
• Experience with HRIS, employee records, workflows, and reporting.
• 2-5 years administering LMS or coordinating learning programs.
• Experience with learning content operations, compliance training, or mentorship.
• Ability to manage high-accuracy, deadline-driven processes with discretion.
• Proven project and program management with multiple workstreams.
• Clear written and verbal communication across time zones with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own Canada People Operations and the delivery of payroll, benefits, and onboarding.
• Coordinate Canadian payroll through Rippling, review inputs and deductions.
• Administer Canadian benefits with Fabric vendors, handling enrolment and questions.
• Serve as first point of contact for routine questions and escalate complex matters.
• Administer the learning platform and operational delivery of programs.
• Partner with SMEs to build and update practical learning content, using AI to draft material.
• Coordinate mentorship program delivery and personal learning stipends.
• Track learning participation, completion, feedback, and report improvements.
• Maintain accurate employee data and compliance evidence across systems.
