Job summary

People Corporation is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our HR Shared Services payroll operations across Canada. You will oversee multi-provincial processing, ensure accurate remittances, and guide integration activities for acquisitions.

You will leverage ADP Workforce Now and Workday HCM, drive process improvements, and lead a team to meet SLAs and regulatory requirements with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll leadership role.
• Experience leading payroll during mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, source deductions, and year-end reporting.
• Experience managing payroll for multiple legal entities and provinces.
• PCP designation or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-provincial Canadian workforce.
• Lead payroll integration activities for acquisitions and organizational changes.
• Define SLAs, monitor metrics, and improve payroll controls and processes.
• Manage year-end activities (T4s, RL-1s, ROEs) and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor the payroll team and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
