Job summary

People Corporation seeks an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our HR Shared Services payroll operations. You will oversee multi-provincial payroll, ensure accuracy and compliance, and manage year-end processes while supporting acquisition integrations.

The role requires 8+ years in payroll, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation. Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Workday HCM is preferred. Bilingual EN/FR is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll leadership role.
• Extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading payroll activities during mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, source deductions, taxable benefits, pension administration, and year-end reporting.
• Experience managing payroll for multiple legal entities and provinces.
• Experience working within a Workday HCM environment if preferred.
• Experience supporting payroll process transformation and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for multi-provincial and multi-company Canadian workforce.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, deductions, bonuses, and other earnings.
• Oversee year-end payroll activities including T4s and ROEs; ensure regulatory reporting.
