Conrad Dillon Robinson Law in Nova Scotia seeks a Senior Paralegal to join the family law team. The role requires independent work, ownership of file progress, and proactive support to lawyers on a busy practice.

You will manage family law matters, draft affidavits, court documents, and trial materials, monitor deadlines, coordinate with clients and experts, and mentor junior staff. This full-time, in-person position offers a starting salary around 65,000 CAD, vacation, RRSP matching, fitness

Qualifications

• Minimum five years paralegal experience.
• Direct Nova Scotia family law experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in drafting affidavits, court documents and related materials.

Responsabilités

• Manage and progress family law files under the direction of the lawyer.
• Maintain understanding of file status and identify next steps.
• Monitor court deadlines, filing requirements and dates.
• Draft correspondence, affidavits, court documents and draft orders.
• Assist with applications, motions, conferences and trials.
• Prepare trial briefs, chronology and hearing materials.
• Organize pleadings, disclosures and exhibits.
• Communicate with clients about documentation and deadlines.
• Coordinate with lawyers, assistants and experts.
