Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Senior Overhead Transmission Lines Engineer in Canada. You will lead design teams, oversee high-voltage overhead line projects from 60kV to 735kV, and ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence.

This hybrid role offers remote work across Canada, with two days per week at the office. You will mentor staff, prepare design deliverables, and contribute to major utility infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience or 10+ years as a fully certified engineer.
• Registration with a Canadian Professional Engineering association or eligible.
• Proficient with PLS-CADD suite and CAD systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project design team and manage scope, schedule and cost.
• Design overhead lines from 60kV to 735kV in an electric utility setting.
• Prepare reports, specifications, proposals, and design documentation.
• Provide signed and sealed engineering deliverables as required.
