Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a leader in oncology clinical research to recruit a Senior Project Manager based in Canada. You will lead complex oncology trials across Phases I–IV, guiding start-up through close-out while coordinating internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to hit timelines, quality, scope, and budget.

You will manage budgets, communicate with clients, and drive risk management in a globally dispersed, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 7 years in clinical pharmaceutical industry with PM experience; or 5+ years healthcare supervisory + 6 years clinical research in pharma/CRO.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and strong PM processes.
• Strong financial acumen with budget development and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams across multiple clinical trials (Phases I–IV).
• Oversee start-up to close-out, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, budget, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource strategies, and contingencies.
• Manage project budgets and financial performance against targets.
• Collaborate with functional leads to resolve complex issues and make informed decisions.
• Serve as main client contact and manage communications and expectations.
• Resolve challenges through negotiation, prioritization, and conflict management.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and quality while maintaining SOP compliance.
