Job summary

Everest Clinical Research invites applications for an Associate Director, Project Management to lead planning, execution and governance of clinical development programs in Canada. This on-site role in Toronto/Markham, or remote from a home-based office anywhere in Canada, reports to the President and guides Project Managers.

You will mentor teams, shape budgets and timelines, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate sponsors and vendors, and maintain proactive client communication to deliver

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in life sciences or health related field.
• 12+ years’ experience in clinical research and development within pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Ability to lead and develop others within a functional area.
• Knowledge of ICH guidelines, FDA, Health Canada and EMA regulations.
• Ability to define scopes, estimate budgets, plan and manage projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Experience as a clinical trial monitor is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, and assess Project Managers.
• Review PM applicants and advise on interviews.
• Develop and update governing documents for the function.
• Plan and implement new client service delivery within client portfolios.
• Establish policies and SOPs in project management and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate with functional area directors and managers for project planning and resources.
• Track project progress and provide monthly status reports.
• Ensure properly tracked project plans and reports per SOPs.
• Conduct status meetings and address risks to avoid deviations.
• Lead lessons learned and contribute to staff performance evaluations.
