Job summary

Everest Clinical Research in Markham, Canada, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex clinical trials. The role supports on-site work in Toronto/Markham or remote work from anywhere in Canada under our Work from Home policy.

You will manage cross-functional teams across clinical operations, data management, statistics, and regulatory affairs. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in clinical research, Mandarin fluency, and oncology exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or MSc in life sciences or health-related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO settings.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred.
• Experience as a clinical trial monitor and cross-functional processes across clinical operations, statistics, data management, medical writing, and regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of ICH guidelines, FDA, Health Canada, and EMA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive effective management of projects with clinical operations, data management, statistics, medical writing, trial technologies, and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional project budgets and work plans, and ensure resource utilization and milestones.
• Lead all project management aspects of Phase I–IV trials in compliance with regulatory requirements; schedule and conduct meetings and track deliverables.
• Be primary point of contact for Sponsors to ensure timely initiation of requests and communication.
• Coordinate activities across functional teams and with third-party vendors to meet contractual obligations and timelines.
• Monitor progress, track hours and budgets, and report status to stakeholders; identify risks and change needs.
• Review portfolio performance with senior PM leaders to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
