Job summary

CI Financial is seeking a Mid-Level Observability Engineer to build and optimize our observability across cloud and hybrid environments. This hands-on role supports Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch, develops dashboards, tunes alerts, and pipelines instrumentation for critical platforms.

You will partner with Cloud Eng, DevOps, SRE, and app teams to improve visibility and reliability. The role emphasizes architecture, incident triage, and governance, with 5–10 years of related experience and a base

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in Observability, Monitoring Engineering, or similar roles.
• Hands-on Dynatrace administration and architecture experience required.
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes knowledge with cloud-native patterns.
• Proficient scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise observability across cloud and on‑prem.
• Configure instrumentation for distributed apps, APIs, microservices, and logs.
• Lead incident triage, define SLIs/SLOs, and drive post‑incident improvements.
• Develop observability as code using Terraform/Monaco and automation workflows.
