Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Engineer to contribute to nuclear power plant systems design, including modification packages and engineering analyses. The role includes developing cost estimates, interfacing with clients, and leading project teams.

The position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office work 3 days per week and remote work two days. Candidates should have 10+ years in the power industry and relevant engineering credentials.

Qualifications

• BSME with emphasis in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from ABET- or CEAB-accredited program.
• Minimum 10 years in the power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes and standards for mechanical design of power plants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Develop functional mechanical drawings and system drawings.
• Conduct engineering analyses to support modifications and operation.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment and lead project teams.
