Job summary

Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to provide development support, conceptual design and owner's engineer services for electric power projects. You will evaluate mechanical systems and support cost analyses and contract development.

The role is remote for Canada-based candidates and may require travel across North America and internationally. Strong communication and extensive power project design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BSME in mechanical engineering from ABET/CEAB accredited program.
• 10+ years in electric power industry with experience in detailed mechanical design of power projects.
• Excellent technical communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide development support, conceptual design and owner's engineer services for electric power projects.
• Perform technical evaluations of generation projects and facilities.
• Support project economics, cost analyses, risk assessments and contract development.
• Travel within North America and internationally as needed.
