Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Canada is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to contribute to nuclear power plant systems design, including preparation or review of modification packages, drawings, and engineering analyses. This role involves leading project teams and interfacing with clients to present status updates.

The position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week and remote work for two days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Canadian ABET-equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design of power plants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Create functional mechanical drawings and drawings for plant systems.
• Perform engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation.
