Placements24 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for its Kimberley operations. The role combines office and remote work to design, deploy and manage advanced telecom network solutions, ensuring security and high performance across the infrastructure.

You will lead network projects, implement routing and security configurations, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable network upgrades in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on telecom networks.
• Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, and switching technologies.
• Proven experience with network security best practices and implementation.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities
