Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive IT Network Technician to support telecommunications infrastructure in Kimberley. The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware and software to ensure reliable operations for end-users.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' hands-on IT network experience, understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine network maintenance and security patching.
  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues before impact.
  • Assist in implementing network projects and upgrades under senior guidance.
  • Provide support and guidance to end-users on network-related queries.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Network Technician to support their telecommunications infrastructure in Kimberley . This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and cabling.

Requirements
