The Role

Reporting to the Director, Talent and Organizational Development, the Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development will collaborate with HR and business partners to deliver programs that develop and engage talent and support business performance.

This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in-office) based in Toronto or Winnipeg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead talent programs to enhance employee experience, such as the annual performance cycle.
  • Develop and execute employee listening strategies, including engagement surveys and pulse checks.
  • Support workforce planning by analyzing current and future workforce needs.
  • Drive change management initiatives to improve performance.
  • Contribute to organizational design efforts to increase effectiveness.
  • Research industry trends and collaborate internally and externally.
  • Manage relationships across levels within a shared services structure.
  • Apply strategic thinking with quick, effective execution.
  • Utilize business acumen to address HR challenges with practical solutions.
  • Respond proactively to evolving business conditions.
  • Manage projects with strong organization and change management skills.
  • Communicate effectively through presentations and influencing skills.
  • Leverage talent metrics and analytics for data-driven decisions.
  • Work independently in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate across teams in a matrixed organization.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR or organizational consulting.
  • Proven track record in implementing OD programs, systems, and tools.
  • Change management certification is an asset.
  • Experience in workforce planning and organizational design is an asset.
