Job summary

Concert Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead for one of our residential communities in Vancouver. You will lead day-to-day maintenance tasks, coordinate trades, and supervise a maintenance team to ensure timely, high-quality work and resident satisfaction.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, suite turnovers, inspections, and safety compliance while maintaining detailed records and aligning with property management standards.

Qualifications

• Progressive maintenance experience in residential/commercial environments.
• Experience leading maintenance staff and coordinating day-to-day priorities.
• Ability to assess priorities, coordinate trades, and escalate issues when needed.
• Strong knowledge of building mechanical systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance tasks and prioritize work orders.
• Provide leadership to maintenance team; distribute workload and coach members.
• Quality-check repairs and tasks to ensure standards and safety.
• Monitor building inspections and address deficiencies promptly.
• Coordinate suite turnovers and make-ready work for occupancy.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation for planning and accountability.
• Lead preventative maintenance activities and coordinate contractor access.
• Support fire and life safety drills and system checks.
• Handle after-hours emergencies and on-call coordination.
