Job summary

Tricon Residential in Toronto is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead resident-focused maintenance across premium properties from pre-opening to ongoing operations. You will build and guide a maintenance team, develop preventive programs, and ensure safety and compliance while safeguarding property performance.

You will lead daily operations, coordinate with Construction and Development, and ensure timely completion of work with a strong emphasis on Yardi reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale mechanical systems and building operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and building codes.
• Excellent written and spoken English with coaching and documentation skills.
• Experience with payroll and performance management software and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Set resident-first service standards and oversee maintenance team performance.
• Plan daily/weekly/monthly maintenance schedules and coverage.
• Oversee budgets for repairs, capital projects and turnovers.
• Coordinate pre-opening inspections and readiness with Construction/Development.
• Manage after-hours coverage and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain inspections and documentation in Yardi and related systems.
