Qualifikationen

• Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma with relevant background in environmental services.
• Fire Safety planning training for owners/operators as per provincial regulations.
• Experience supervising housekeeping, laundry or maintenance teams.
• Strong people skills to guide and motivate a diverse team and delegate tasks effectively.

Aufgaben

• Oversee environmental services of the retirement home (housekeeping, laundry, maintenance).
• Plan, coordinate, direct and monitor activities within the departments.
• Hire, onboard, train, schedule and coach staff to uphold Aspira/Atria standards.
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure adequate resources and equipment.
• Ensure building and equipment are clean, safe and well-maintained.
• Oversee waste management and linen laundering; support fire safety program.
• Manage quality assurance and engage in improvement initiatives.
• Oversee routine and preventative maintenance programs.
